Single Spring Seal

FLOW-PROOF (FPS) Series are Balance / Unbalanced /Close type Mechanical seals developed for dirty media,
clogging type applications & suitable for wide service applications. Single acting helical coil spring seal independent of
direction of rotation. The drive ring’s notch design eliminates over stressing of the elastomers bellows. Slippages are
eliminated, protecting the shaft and sleeve from fretting, while close type mechanical seal is independent of
direction of rotation, torque transmission from retainer shell to dynamic ring is done through drive lugs and all
components are held together by a snap ring which helps in easier installation & removal. All parts are
Interchangeable Seal can be repaired in field with minimum spares, minimizing the downtime cost.
